Owned by the Norenberg family, Kemptville BMR took on the BMR name in 2021 but was started and originally operated under the name of Kemptville Building Centre in Kemptville, Ontario in 1974. The Kemptville Building Center was founded by the late Karl Norenberg and continues under the leadership of their son, Eric Norenberg. Kemptville Building Centre BMR is the leading home improvement, design, and renovation center in Kemptville, Ontario, which includes a furniture store, called Kemptville Interiors. Specializing in lumber, hardware, power tools, flooring, housewares, windows, doors, window coverings, kitchen and bath design, and patio furniture.
